Brief History
The School, founded in the year 2020, is the brainchild of the then Hospital Director/Administrator, Fr Dr Jude Godwin, who conceived the idea and indeed set out for its execution, before he was redeployed.
When Fr Justin Okoro took over as Hospital Director/Administrator, instead of investigating, re-evaluating, re-assessing and reconsidering the whole project, he quickly embraced it and went ahead to execute a proposal that would, ordinarily, have appeared to many managers as an uphill task. To say the least, Fr Justin made the complex processes involved in securing accreditation, to look simple. He funded the building of a pharmaceutical dispensing laboratory, that is, today, being rated as the best in the Country, by the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN).
The School, and all her training programmes, have been granted FULL ACCREDITATION, by the supervising body, the PCN, to run a straight three years programme leading to the award of PHARMACY TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATE, which is recognised both nationally and internationally. Today, the School has produced her pioneer graduands, who participated in the 2023 National Pre-Certification Examination (NPCE) and to the glory of God, came out in flying colours with 100% pass.
Worthy of note is the fact that the PHARMACY TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATE, guarantees the holders, admission by direct entry, into the University, for degree programmes in Pharmacy and Allied disciplines, as approved by the National University Commission (NUC).

The school runs a three years program. Each candidate must have at least five credits which must include: English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
